Who we are
We are a coalition of organisations and individuals, working together to strengthen, celebrate and amplify Brighton’s visual arts. By connecting people, sharing ideas and championing creativity, we make our city’s visual arts visible locally, nationally and beyond.
What we do
We come together around a shared vision: supporting one another, championing creativity and advocating for Brighton’s visual arts scene. We nurture existing partnerships and spark new collaborations, both inside the arts and beyond.
This is a space to share ideas, tackle challenges and turn ambitions into action. We embrace fresh ways of working, champion innovation and believe in the power of collaboration. At our core is a commitment to being anti-racist, equitable, and environmentally conscious.
How we make an impact
Raise Visibility
We celebrate Brighton’s visual arts, showing how it complements and connects art forms across the city. Through shared stories, promotion, and collaboration, we make our work seen, experienced and felt.
Lead Together
We bring our voices to boards, panels, and decision-making spaces locally, regionally, and nationally—shaping policies, strategies and opportunities for visual arts.
Build Equity
We ensure the coalition reflects a wide diversity of voices and put our action plan into practice. By adopting Generous Collaboration Principles, we work fairly, openly and inclusively.
